Since taking office in 2018, Howie has:
Re-paved 44 town roads - 13.2 miles - in first term
Raised revenue by auctioning old equipment and vehicles
Savings of $166,000 in winter salt funds since 2018
Refaced instead of replaced damaged street signs saving $15 per sign
Worked with Ward 4 Councilman Ken Schneider to implement collecting residents’ used Christmas trees
Goals for 2021-2025:
Work with Town Board to continue to upgrade vehicles and equipment
Continue to improve drainage
Create plan with Town Board for a clean up day, one ward per year
Continue saving money to increase amount of roads to be re-paved
Install solar panels on highway garage to save energy and reduce electric costs
